This ale was originally brewed by a London brewery as a gift to the Russian Czar. Its high alcohol content let it survive the journey and its rich malt character warmed on cold nights.

Ce délicieux amer britannique de style plus léger a pris la 2e place à l’édition 2009 de la «Garrison Brewery Brew-Off». C’est impressionnant, étant donné qu’il s’agit d’une recette à base d’extrait en concurrence avec de nombreux bitters «tout grain». Il est de couleur claire avec une amertume modérée et un arôme distinct d’herbe. Délicieux amer à savourer en été.
