Chilean Malbec has quickly become a very popular wine. Malbec originated in Bordeaux, but the hot dry climate of Chile allows the grape to reach excellent ripeness creating lush fruity characters and an intense, deep wine. A thick-skinned grape full of colour, tannin and flavour. Malbec makes wines of richness and character. Notice hints of blackberry, plum, sweet cherry, spice, licorice and subtle bittersweet notes, almost like unsweetened chocolate.
