Formerly known as Equinox, Ekuanot® is a multifaceted finishing hop combining high oil content with strong impressions of citrus, fruit, and herbs.
Breeding/Development: USA. Formerly known as Equinox, Ekuanot® was developed by the Hop Breeding Company and first released in 2014 as HBC 366.
Brewing Application: Aroma and flavour in IPAs, sours, wheat beers, and other styles requiring strong flavour contribution from hops. Ekuanot® has been featured in many single-hop beers. Its high oil content (favouring myrcene and humulene in particular) make it a good candidate for late, whirlpool, or dry hop additions.
Sensory: Ekuanot® is known for delivering a complex array of aromatics, suggestive of lime, apple, melon, berry, cedar, papaya, bay leaves, eucalyptus, clove, sage, and tobacco.
Alpha Acid Range: 4.0-6.5%

Anciennement connu sous le nom d'Equinox, Ekuanot® est un houblon de finition aux multiples facettes combinant une teneur élevée en huile avec de fortes impressions d'agrumes, de fruits et d'herbes. Ekuanot® est connu pour offrir une gamme complexe d'aromates, évoquant la lime, la pomme, le melon, les baies, le cèdre, la papaye, les feuilles de laurier, l'eucalyptus, le clou de girofle, la sauge et le tabac.
